RTO vs non-RTO electric scooters: a clear guide

Non-RTO electric scooters are generally limited to 25 km/h and, within the prescribed regulatory limits, do not require registration or a driving licence.
High-speed EVs require RTO registration, insurance and a valid driving licence. They are better suited to longer and faster urban journeys.
Your best choice depends on daily distance, road conditions, speed needs and budget.
